The Legal Aid Day is intended for students who wish to use their legal knowledge for societal impact. This day focuses on social legal practice and legal social work.
Students take part in various workshops in which organisations and initiatives demonstrate how they contribute to access to justice and legal protection for vulnerable groups. The workshops provide insight into daily practice, the societal relevance of the work and the challenges within this area of law.
In addition to substantive content, the Legal Aid Day offers room for personal interaction. The day concludes with a networking reception, where students and organisations can meet one another in an informal setting.
